Most issues have a quick answer below. If yours isn't here, send us the bundle described under “Reporting an issue” and we'll dig in.

Tap a question for an instant answer. The floating "Need help?" button in the corner opens the same assistant on every page.
Quick answers
- QuickBooks rejected the import. Open your migration, go to Match accounts, and make sure every PCLaw account is matched to a QuickBooks account. Then try sending again.
- I imported into the wrong company. Open the migration, scroll to Reverse this import, type
REVERSE, and click the button. QuickBooks will receive offsetting entries; the originals stay visible for audit. - “Duplicate import blocked.” The same file was already sent to this QuickBooks company. Either export a fresh ledger from PCLaw covering only the new period, or remove the prior entries in QuickBooks before re-sending.
- Reversal entries don't say “reversal” in QuickBooks. Reversals posted by Cutovr have a document number starting
REV-and every line description prefixed REVERSAL. The QuickBooks Journal report shows them as separate entries alongside the originals; QuickBooks does not visually mark the originals as voided.
Reporting an issue
Email support@cutovr.com. Please include:
- The migration name or reference shown at the top of the page.
- The exact action you took (button or page).
- The error message text you saw, verbatim.
- The approximate time you saw the issue.
- Whether you were testing with sample data or running a real migration.
Please don’t paste passwords or full PCLaw ledger content into a support email. Your migration reference is enough for us to look it up.
Reporting a security issue
If you think you've found a security problem (login bypass, leaked data, etc.), please email security@cutovr.com instead of posting publicly. Include the same details as above plus a short reproduction. We will acknowledge within 2 business days.
Status & uptime
If the application appears down, our hosting provider (Render) restarts it automatically. If problems persist for more than a few minutes, email support@cutovr.com and we'll investigate.
Disconnecting QuickBooks
To disconnect QuickBooks from Cutovr, open the Disconnect QuickBooks page. From there a logged-in firm admin can revoke access and remove the stored connection. You can also reach the same page from QuickBooks Online → Apps → Connected apps → Disconnect.
